Abstract
交通傷害現已成為全球性之安全議題,對於各國之公共衛生負荷十分龐大。先前文獻指出單一車輛事故件數較低,但死亡率卻高於其他事故類型,然而國內學術界針對單一車輛事故相關研究較少。此外,其他研究結果顯示機動車輛乘客死亡率較駕駛者來得高,但我國研究對象通常以車輛駕駛人為主,關於乘客的研究及文獻較不足,因此,本研究旨在探討臺灣單一車輛事故乘客受傷嚴重程度,其次探討不同人口學變項、道路狀況與車種別、環境狀況及保護裝備與酒精使用等變項與單一車輛事故乘客受傷嚴重度之間的關係。本研究係次級資料分析,以2016年至2018年內政部警政署交通事故檔與衛生福利部健保資料庫等次級資料庫進行串聯,14,378名單一車輛事故乘客為研究對象。結果顯示,超過一半之乘客有受傷,約2%的乘客死亡,約19%~20%的乘客重傷。女性、年長者、離島地區、路段、大型車及深夜時段之乘客較易受傷,不過一旦受傷,男性、年長者、南部及東部、不良天候、光線不足、深夜、未使用保護裝備及駕駛酒駕之乘客較易死亡或重傷,而發生在路口、雨天及尖峰時段之事故乘客則較不易死亡及重傷。研究結果可以作為進一步探討單一車輛乘客受傷因素及提供制定相對應改善措施的方向。
