Abstract
新型冠狀病毒(SARS-CoV-2)變異株的出現,其傳染性增強及傳播速度加快,持續對全球健康和經濟構成重大威脅。SARS-CoV-2感染可能再次發生,並且持續時間可能比最初預期的更長,這引發了對長期健康後果的擔憂。因此,新冠肺炎(COVID-19)之後的長期障礙值得關注,特別是以呼吸道併發症為主的後新冠併發症更為常見且典型。

目前,有關針對COVID-19併發症的專門治療方案的數據仍然有限。然而,NRICM101在住院COVID-19患者中的臨床療效和藥理作用已被證明,其植物化學成分顯示出作為COVID-19相關併發症治療選項的潛力。本研究採用網絡藥理學分析方法,探索NRICM101治療與COVID-19相關的呼吸道併發症的潛在療效。研究結果顯示,NRICM101可能通過三條主要途徑發揮有益作用:PI3K/AKT、HIF-1和TNF信號通路。黃酮類化合物(特別是槲皮素)在其中起著主要作用,並與其他活性化合物協同產生治療效果。大多數主要活性化合物主要來源於三種核心草藥成分:甘草(Glycyrrhiza glabra)、黃芩(Scutellaria baicalensis)和桑葉(Morus alba)。

本研究加深了對NRICM101在抗擊SARS-CoV-2感染機制的理解,並提供了有關NRICM101在應對COVID-19併發症方面的潛力的進一步見解,尤其是通過調節免疫炎症反應及減輕SARS-CoV-2感染引起的呼吸道併發症。
