Abstract
禿頭疾病一直是至今為止現代人常見的煩惱,在現代的藥物治療中副作用的影響下,人們積極尋找中草藥來作為治療的替代方案。本篇研究目的為使用木棉花(Bombax ceiba L. flower),對於生髮相關的信號路徑進行研究並改善雄性禿(Androgenetic alopecia, AGA)。分別利用水、50E、95E進行萃取,並於化學成分分析探討木棉花的主要成分;體外細胞試驗探討木棉花對真皮乳凸細胞 (Dermal papilla cell, DPC)的影響;體內動物實驗則利用Minoxidil、Finasteride當作正對照組,利用木棉花萃取物對Testosterone誘導的AGA小鼠進行治療,持續進行18天。
結果顯示三種萃取物皆有許多黃酮、多酚成分,其中50E萃取多酚最高有214.51 ± 0.70 mg/g;水萃取黃酮最高有50.06 ± 12.38 mg/g,細胞實驗結果顯示三種萃取物均無細胞毒性,50E則有較高的細胞增殖,而對DHT造成傷害的保護具有良好的表現,且於生長路徑的蛋白表現皆有明顯的上升,包括Wnt/β-catenin、VEGF等等;動物實驗持續18天結果顯示,Testosterone誘導的小鼠組別背部毛髮與Blank相比較少,50E對小鼠背部皆有良好的毛髮生長,正對照組與50E對AGA的治療下皆有明顯的毛髮生長效果,並於染色切片下毛囊數量有劑量依存性的上升,而蛋白質表現也皆有良好的上升。種種結果表示木棉花具有改善AGA的潛力。
