Abstract
In recent time, the global climate changes significantly. Researchers have found that climatic is strongly related to human health. Meanwhile, as the number of emergent patients increases day by day, emergency medical resource management becomes an important issue in promoting medical service quality. In this paper, the data mining technology is utilized to find out relationships among the climate factors and the periodicity of emergency clinic. Some interested rules have been obtained and provided to a regional teaching hospital in Chu-Nan, Taiwan. Those rules are used as a reference to help the managers of the hospital allocating emergency medical resources. It is expected that the satisfaction of the emergency medical treatment service will be promoted.
