Abstract
近年來,根據許多國家的流行病學研究指出肥胖與多種癌症的發生率有相關,如大腸直腸癌、胃癌、食道癌、肝癌、膽囊癌、胰臟癌、腎臟癌、子宮癌,以及女性乳癌等。目前已有許多研究顯示脂肪組織中的脂肪間質幹細胞,其生物活性對癌症具有一定的影響。然而目前脂肪間質幹细胞對於腫瘤進程的確切的作用仍有爭議。因此,我們的實驗目標是研究脂肪間質幹細胞使否透過分泌細胞激素抑或直接與不同惡性腫瘤細胞之間的產生相互作用,如促進腫瘤生長。另外,癌初始細胞被認為是癌症接受放射治療和化學治療後,發生癌症復發的原因,所以我們也將針對脂肪間質幹細胞是否會促進癌初始細胞的特性進行探討,透過細胞球體培養的實驗評估癌初始細胞的特性,發現脂肪間質幹細胞能增強球體形成生長。最後在基因和蛋白質分析顯示,脂肪間質幹細胞會通過第六型介白素活化促進癌細胞的惡性發展。
