Abstract
阿茲海默症 (Alzheimer’s Disease, AD) 與輕度認知障礙 (Mild Cognitive Impairment, MCI) 是常見的神經退行性疾病,其早期診斷對於延緩病程與臨床介入具有重要意義。腦電圖 (Electroencephalography, EEG) 作為一種非侵入式且成本低廉的工具,已被廣泛應用於神經退化性疾病的輔助診斷中。本研究以深度學習方法對 AD、MCI 及健康對照組 (Healthy Control, HC) 受試者的 EEG 數據進行分類,並設計兩種不同的神經網路模型以探討不同特徵表徵方式的分類效能。
首先,針對展平的一維 EEG 原始時域訊號,建構一套基於一維卷積神經網路 (1D-CNN) 的分類模型,直接擷取時間序列中的時域特徵。其次,設計以短時傅立葉轉換 (Short-Time Fourier Transform, STFT) 為基礎的二維特徵提取流程,轉換 EEG 為時間-頻率圖像後輸入二維卷積神經網路 (2D-CNN) ,進行頻域與空間特徵的學習。為提升模型泛化能力,本研究亦應用 SpecAugment 技術進行資料增強,並於訓練過程中導入類別權重處理資料不平衡問題。
驗證結果顯示,1D-CNN 在三分類任務 (AD、MCI、HC) 中達到 88.76% 的準確率,並於二分類任務中取得最高 94.65% 準確率;而 2D-CNN 在相同任務下分別達到 81.72% (三分類) 與 93.32% (二分類) 之驗證準確率。相較之下,1D-CNN 於本研究中展現出更高的分類性能與較佳的計算效率,而 2D-CNN 則在可視化頻率特徵與空間結構方面具有潛力。未來研究可進一步探索二者融合之多模態模型,以結合時域與頻域資訊提升分類準確性。
本研究成果顯示,基於 EEG 訊號之深度學習方法於神經退化性疾病分類中具有潛力,有助於發展高效且實用之早期輔助診斷工具。
