Abstract
背景:自COVID-19疫情肆虐開始,全球累計病例總數已突破5.47億,死亡人數達634萬人。多數研究顯示慢性病及高齡人口為COVID-19疾病死亡或急重症的風險因子,而亞洲地區糖尿病患病人口數之高,使得這群糖尿病患者在疫情期間,面臨比正常健康人更高的急重症或死亡風險。目前最有效的防疫措施為接種疫苗,在不同國家曾有研究顯示,糖尿病族群存有疫苗猶豫的情況。因此本研究想探討糖尿病族群疫苗猶豫的狀況,並嘗試以健康識能的角度切入,探討兩者之間的關聯性。
目的:探討臺灣糖尿病患者糖尿病健康識能與COVID-19疫苗猶豫之關聯性,瞭解臺灣糖尿病患者接種COVID-19疫苗的態度。
方法:本研究於2022年4月至5月針對有疫苗猶豫的糖尿病族群進行一對一個別訪談,並使用問卷調查收錄個案之糖尿病健康識能程度。樣本納入條件包含糖尿病患者、年滿20歲之成年人以及在一定時間接種或從未接種疫苗等,最後收錄了12名糖尿病患者。訪談資料將透過逐字稿紀錄並進行開放性譯碼分析。
結果:糖尿病患者在疫苗接種上,最常被列入考量的便是自身健康因素,且多數糖尿病患者身上不只一種疾病,其他較嚴重的疾病將被列為主要的考量點,因此糖尿病不會是疫苗接種決定的最關鍵因素;而其他次要考量的要素則包含疫苗副作用、外出頻率以及工作需要等。
結論:並無觀察出糖尿病健康識能與COVID-19疫苗猶豫之關聯性,但有發現批判健康識能較好的族群,在疫苗接種的考量上會有自己獨到的見解,並按照自己的理解以及判斷做出決定。
