Abstract
本研究目的是探討外部冷敷及震動裝置在兒童接受靜脈注射時的成效。
研究採雙盲試驗測試,受試者在試驗過程中實驗組接受Buzzy®外部冷敷及震動,而對照組則採取模擬對照接受外觀相同的儀器。研究對象為年齡4-7歲的兒童,採用區塊隨機分配方式決定組別,研究測量工具包括:疼痛自我報告、疼痛行為表現及疼痛情緒表現。
共納入72位4-7歲兒童,其中實驗組有3位中途退出;其實驗組33
人及對照組36人資料納入分析。研究結果顯示:(一)、兩組兒童於介入後,在疼痛自我報告的交互作用達顯著(p < .001),表示兩組在疼痛自我報告分數從前測到後測的改變幅度具有顯著差異。(二)、兩組兒童於介入後,在疼痛行為反應(p > .05)的交互作用未達顯著水準,表示兩組在疼痛行為反應從前測到後測的改變幅度不具有顯著差異。(三)、兩組兒童於介入後,在疼痛情緒反應(p > .05)的交互作用未達顯著水準,表示兩組在疼痛情緒反應從前測到後測的改變幅度不具有顯著差異。
此研究結果運用外部冷敷及震動措施對於外部冷敷及震動措施能有效減輕兒童在接受靜脈注射時自我報告的疼痛分數。在忙碌的臨床能透過簡單操作、安全又迅速的介入方式來完成靜脈注射,可以降低兒童疼痛,改善照護品質。
