Abstract
長期攝食高脂、高膽固醇飲食,可能會造成體內代謝的負擔,使得體內血脂異常,以及氧化壓力增加,不僅增加心血管損傷的發生,也增加心血管疾病的風險。先前研究發現,心血管疾病的發生,可能與心血管中的粒線體功能異常有關,另外,過去研究曾指出山竹果殼含具有抗氧化能力的山酮素,能夠降低氧化壓力並降低心血管受損,因此,本次研究之目的為探討山竹果殼粉末在高脂高膽固醇飲食誘導心血管損傷的動物模式中是否能影響心臟及血管之粒線體功能。本次實驗使用6週齡雄性Sprague Dawley大鼠,經過一週適應期後,隨機分為正常飲食組 (Control, C)、高脂高膽固醇飲食組 (High fat and high cholesterol, HFC)、低劑量山竹果殼組 (Low dose, L) 及高劑量山竹果殼組 (High dose, H),實驗為期20週,實驗期間正常飲食組給予以AIN-93G為基礎之飲食,高脂高膽固醇飲食、低劑量及高劑量組,則給予以控制組調整之飲食,脂質佔飼料總熱量之50%,其中含有1% 膽固醇。本次實驗結果顯示,低劑量山竹果殼粉能夠促使血管中endothelial nitric oxide synthase(eNOS)表現,提升血中Nitric oxide(NO)的含量,並降低血管脂質過氧化物以及有增加血管粒線體nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide-cytochrome c reductase(NCCR)活性的趨勢來降低高脂高膽固醇飲食造成的血管損傷
