正式成立臺北醫學大學語言中心
修正臺北醫學大學組織規程第五條，通識中心為一級單位，下設語言中心
Mission statement
The overaching goal is to enhance TMU students' and faculty members' English proficiency, global vision/mobility, and multi-cultural awareness/competence.
To offer foreign language courses, such as English, German, French, Korean and Japanese, as well as local language courses, such as the Southern Min and the Hakka dialects. Upon the request from a sufficient number of students, the Center is also prepared to offer courses in other languages.
Because TMU is a research university that is undergoing rapid expansion and internationalization, the Center is poised to play an ever more important role, especially as we develop toward becoming a comprehensive institution.
