Our study is focused into research, clinical service and teaching. We train our students to be well rounded and match international surgeon qualities.
Surgery includes three professors, two assistant professors, three lecturers, national and international specialists. In addition, researchers from our own research centers assist in teaching.
Surgery is divided into fourth, fifth and sixth year curriculum. In fourth year, basic surgery studies are being focused to allow students an introduction to surgery.
In fifth year, courses include gastroenterology (focusing on digestive diseases and treatments), emergency surgery, cardiovascular surgery and neurology surgery (with introduction to peripheral and central nervous system related diseases).
In sixth year, special surgery course introduces top surgical cases and studies, such as hear, lung and its transplantation. We start from basic understandings to specific details. From physiological, pathological and clinical aspects, we provide students and overview of surgery.
