2025-04-222025-04-22https://203.71.86.71/handle/123456789/264一、宗旨理念及目標 (一)宗旨：落實醫學教育之公共衛生相關知識與技能。 (二)理念：培養能從群體角度，提昇民眾健康、預防疾病發生、發現/解決健康問題的醫學生。 (三)目標： 1.培養醫學系學生具有臨床醫學資料整理、統計分析與結果判讀的能力。 2.訓練醫學系學生擁有流行病學研究方法與疾病調查的能力。 3.使醫學系學生瞭解如何經由各種環境暴露因素之控制及改善，達到健康促進的目的。 4.架構基礎醫學與臨床醫學間的連繫橋樑，養成醫學生未來臨床階段預防醫學應用的能力。 5.使醫學系學生對職業病及職業病之預防與控制有所了解，啟發對職業醫學之興趣。 6.使醫學生能真正體會預防重於治療的現代公共衛生精神，成為具有社會觀的醫者。 二、學科特色 本學科教師的學術和研究專長涵蓋公共衛生所有重要領域，如流行病學、生物統計、環境衛生、職業醫學、婦幼衛生、實證醫學及衛生政策等，可提供醫學系學生在公衛領域中多樣化學習及發展。TMU’s Department & School of Public Health is located on the fifth floor and parts of the fourth floor of the Health Science Building, with an area of about 830 square meters. The School consists of two conference rooms, one student laboratory, six professional research laboratories . In addition to these research facilities, there are 18 faculty offices and an open cubicle area for graduate students and research assistants. We offer international programs taught in English as well as interactive coursework, so both international and local students acquire cross-cultural knowledge and contextualized understanding of international public health issues.
