2025-04-212025-04-21https://203.71.86.71/handle/123456789/251成立宗旨： 培養寄生蟲學專業人才並致力於熱帶寄生蟲學研究領域。 學科簡介： 1960年學科由董事吳振蘭博士首創，1966年學科研究室正式成立。 目前學科正式編制4位專任教師與1位技術人員，至2012年8月止，有范家堃教授、廖建維助理教授、莊定武助理教授、鄭柏青助理教授，共4位專任教師；兼任教師有 2位：鍾文政榮譽教授與盧盡良講師。2008年起，陸續邀請美國 、史瓦濟蘭、奈及利亞、日本、泰國等專家學者擔任學科講座教授。本學科為目前台灣地區傳統寄生蟲型態學與組織學訓練最專精之重點學科，此外對於寄生蟲症免疫學與分子生物學的診斷與研究，本學科的成就亦有目共睹。本學科目前積 極往國際化目標邁進，並成為台灣主要的寄生蟲與熱帶醫學研究重點學科。 學科特色： 本學科除了著重於傳統寄生蟲型態學與組織學之訓練，此外對於寄生蟲症免疫學與分子生物學診斷與研究成就，亦是有目共睹。近年來，學科正積朝向國際化目標邁進，前往第三世界國家進行短期熱帶醫學研究，培訓新一代研究種子，並與日本、捷克、愛爾蘭、美國等先進國家之實驗室進行跨國學術交流。Currently, four full-time faculties and one technician are in our department. Department members are responsible to the Parasitology courses provided to undergraduate students of School of Medicine, Medical Technology and Public Health as well as part courses for graduate students. Our major research fields cover molecular and immunopathogenesis of zoonotic parasitosis, epidemiology, and construction tropical disease prediction mode. Our research achievements have been published in internationally sound scientific Journals related to Parasitology, Tropical Medicine, Microbiology and Epidemiology. Proudly, some of excellent papers have been published in top Journals like the Lancet and Clinical Microbiology Reviews. Prof. Fan has led a Parasitology Research Team to undertake NTDs research in Africa Swaziland and Sao Tomes since 2009 as well as Marshall Islands Republic in Micronesia since 2013 and obtained a fruitful academic achievements.Academic Institute
